Purchased my first PDA, Zire 31 (thanks for the recs. from this group).

Seriously don't understand how immature the apps can be after so many years of development.

Adding a new app: easy. Removing it: good luck!

Transfer over SOME of the phone book data (like do I really need to copy over the photos): can't be done.

Remove all calendar entries BEFORE today (or some other date): ditto.

Why a notepad AND a memo taker? (And why did I bother buying/loading the useless "docs to go"?)

Print phone book entries from the main PC app: how about some tweaking allowed, like which fields, support different organizer paper formats, etc.

And on and on.

Comments? Should I have looked at a WindowsCE unit instead?

My personal opinion is that the PalmOS got stuck in the 90's.

The look and feel of it hasn't changed much, the apps are pretty much the same, and with the exception of some nifty graphics and colour the GUI is the same too.

I really really dislike Palm devices. Personally I would have gone with a Windows mobile handheld.
