Lost my Nikon 3100 camera software CDs
 
I've lost the CDs that my Nikon 3100 camera came with last year. Now I have corruption on my notebook hard disk and it requires a reformat.

Nikon website (rather impenetrable) doesn't seem to offer downloadable software.

Anyone any ideas for how to get this software again ?

The Nero software that came with my CD Writer about 5 years ago got broken and when I finally called Creative 2 years later for a replacement they sent out a replacement CD for $5 plus $5 shipping. Retail price at the time was around $60, and it was even a newer version.

If you can get this for free by the methods listed above, by all means, do that. Otherwise, calling customer support may be your best option.

OR pay $20 for a USB CF reader.
