Hotmail message sort ?
 

My hotmail Inbox used to default to list the messages in assending order by date (new messages at the bottom) and if you wanted to re-sort the date field was able to be "sorted on". Messages now deualt in decending order (new messages at the top) and there does not appear to be a way to sort them.

Am I missing something? Emails to hotmail go unanswered.

It is pissing me off so much I may switch to GMAIL.

At first I thought, and sorry about this..."this guy must be an idiot, all you do is click the date/size etc to sort"......

Then I actually went to Hotmail, and you are quite right, I hunted high and low, nothing! :confused:

Its insane!

I have never noticed this before as I only use mine for paypal and MSN so it never gets past the first page of email messages.

Does this facility appear if you pay for full Hotmail???

WOW! I just went to confirm my way of sorting for you & instead of being 95% full my mailbox is 1% !!! They've matched Yahoo with 250MB storage!

Maybe it's got something to do with that changeover, but what I was going to tell you no longer works - hopefully it'll be temporary. If it gets put back, what you can do is click on the heading of the Date column & the order toggles between ascending & descending.

As I say, I hope that function returns, as it would be such a pain having to work through to the end of 250MB of stored enails!

Yes I do and I have 2000MG of space. And the date/sort thing was there up until about 10 days ago. :mad:

Hmmm. Not for me yet.

I have 2 hotmail accounts and just noticed this switch on Tuesday. I check daily and prefer to have my new email at the bottom. I have been unable to find away to change this, and it is really annoying me!!

So I check both accounts this morning, and both have been upgraded to 250mb accounts (very nice). 1 has the date sort feature back, and the other doesn't. I assume after they are done upgrading things stuff should get back to normal.
