Nextel BlackBerry 7510

Hopefully one of FT's members can shed some light on my little issue.

I have a Nextel Blackberry 7510 which did not come with a SIM card (got it off eBay). At the time of purchase I thought that my current SIM card (i90c) would also work in the blackberry. Turns out I was dead wrong. I called Nextel to find out how to buy a SIM card for the blackberry, was told that no way in hell am I going to be able to purchase a SIM card by itself from Nextel, but to try the Nextel Retail/Service Centers. Tried _multiple_ retail/service centers in the entire LA area, they are all either giving me the runaround that they dont have them, and I should call Nextel, or by telling me flat out that they do not sell the SIM cards alone.
What's all this fuss over a stupid little tiny SIM card???
I even asked Nextel over the phone, what if I were to loose my SIM card from my current phone - guess what they said ... "you'd have to buy a new phone" (!!!!!!) This is really ridiculous...

SO... I was wondering/hoping/keeping my fingers crossed that one of my fellow FT'ers might have a spare Backberry 7510 SIM card laying aroud somewhere, or at least know a place where I could get one ( and no, there aren't any on eBay )

Thanks for your help
Regards,

Chris

What are you searching for on Ebay? I found loads of them:

Here is a firm that sells them for $24.95:

Hope this helps...

thanks for the reply, Scott.
Unfortunately from what I'm being told, the BlackBerry uses a differrent SIM card than the one for the Motorola phones....

Chris
