T Mobile blackberry worked in India without a problem. I presume if you are enabled for international roaming it should work on Citimovil or Personal Argentina's GSM/GPRS networks down there. I have yet to use it down there but I would call up Tmobile or look up info on www.gsmworld.com.

You'll be able to roam on Telefonica. Make sure you're enabled with T-Mo first. It usually takes about 5 calls before the doubt is gone from the CSR's voices.

I Doubt It

Argentina's GSM service is quite limited and is not listed as a GPRS roaming partner with T-Mobile. I don't think you'll have access to BB functions.

No, there is no GPRS data roaming partner in Argentina for T-Mobile...

See: http://www.t-mobile.com/internationa...geInternet.asp

In Central and S. America, T-Mobile has roaming agreements in Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Chile...

BTW: Having International roaming is QUITE different than having a GPRS roaming agreement for the country. The Blackberry will work fine as a telephone but NOT as a data device while roaming in Argentina. Here are the two roaming partners: http://www.t-mobile.com/internationa...R&CN=ARGENTINA

Editing to add that ATTWS doesn't have any agreements for Argentina and GPRS data: http://www.attwireless.com/internati...2&DID=86&CDID=

Update; As of this Friday, T-Mobile now has a roaming agreement with "Telecom Personal/PERSONAL/AR TP". A device supporting GSM1900 is required. Coverage is select cities only (Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Rosario, etc)

I recently used a T-Mobile blackberry in EZE without a problem. Coverage was fine, the service worked just like in SFO.

If its not too much trouble, could you detail what additional charges you were billed (if any)? Thanks.

The service is provided by Telecom Personal and should be the normal $1.99/minute for voice calls and $0.015/kb for data retrieved.

You'll see from the roaming map that it's really BA and suburbs only.
