Using Spybot

I used to run Spybot v1.2 every 1-2 weeks and it would always pickup unwanted spyware on my system. However since downloading the latest update about a month ago, it always reports back that my system is clean....

Has Spybot suddenly become so efficient, or is something amiss??

Never rely on just one package, try AdAware and Spyware detect and destroy as well.

i do run AdAware as well. but until recently felt that Spybot was the most effective.

Yeah always run more than one proggie. Also you can tweak the settings to scan more.

Ditto. But all of a sudden it never finds anything whereas in the past it always found a few things.

I put this to the test a few mins ago. Used to be that Spybot would find many bugs. It doesn't anymore, though AdAware does.

Hmm...
