Laptop Power

We're flying on 2/13 from LAX to AMS on KLM #602, coach.

Can anyone tell me if on a KLM 747 there is 110v ac available to power our laptop?

Thanks!

No powerports in coach, and as far as I know also no powerports in Business. With the possible exception of some seats on AA no coach seats offer powerports.

A quick browse of the KLM web site suggested power in business, but not in coach. Consider checking the web site. For a definitive answer, you might call and ask.

Business: The many functions offered by this modern recliner include an inflatable lumbar support, a massage setting and an electrical outlet for using your laptop without an adapter.

Most airlines do not have 110v ac outlets at the seat, but instead have a DC power port that requires a special adapter (empower, etc). If KLM had real 110v outlets this would be pretty neat!

US's Airbus fleet has power ports in all classes (that's in the A319/320/321 in addition to the A330 according to their site).

There are a few examples of 110v (US/Japan/etc-style) plugs in biz/first class that I've heard about, but I don't recall the specific airlines/planes, except that it's not any of the US carriers.
