Hookup Computer to TV via wireless?
Is there a way to connect a desktop to display MPEG files on a TV via a wireless connection?
I use my desktop to record TV shows in MPEG format. I either transfer them to my laptop to watch while I'm on the road. However, I would also like to watch the shows on my home TV but would like to connect via wireless 802.x |
Plenty of WiFi viewers for photos and MP3 but AFAIK none yet for mpeg video.
You might want to look at this package: http://www.x10.com/products/vk57a2s_cm17a_fb85.htm and here: http://www.x10.com/products/x10_vk53a.htm |
Something like the Pinnacle ShowCenter (~$250) should work if you got a wireless bridge for it. Tom's Hardware has a review. You'd probably need 802.11g to get adequate bandwidth for video.
