Digital Cameras

Thinking of upgrading to a professional digital camera. Looking at the Canon 10D or the Olympus E-1. Any suggestions?

My vote goes for the Canon EOS 300D, new model and not very expensive. It uses the same 6MP CMOS sensor and image processor as the 10D. Here is a great review by Phil Askey http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttr...orum/smile.gif

www.dpreview.com is the other site to get some really good user views on too.

Do you have lenses for Olympus/Canon cameras? If not try out maybe a Digital Rebel (300D) or 10D and get a desent zoom lens. Do not even think about the Olympus, the lenses are expencive and aftermarket ones (Sigma) are hard to come by. What will you be shooting?

1. Have you used a film SLR in the past?
2. What kind of photography do you do? Indoor? Outdoor? Landscape? Action? Birding?

I think the 10D is better when it comes to action photographing, more FPS with that model.
