Scott eVest users?

I anyone using the Scott eVest? I don't think I want to wear one full-time but with all the tech devices I'm getting saddled with when we travel, I was thinking this might be an easy way to keep things secure yet handy. Not to mention freeing up space in my carry-on. Any recommendations?

Know many people that use them. Those that do speak very highly of them.

I love tech gadgets as much as the next guy, but this seems to scream "geek alert" if you ask me.. http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttr...um/biggrin.gif

Not really. Its already in 3rd or 4th generation. The new ones are more stylish and don't scream geek like the originals. Just my opinion, of course.

Use Dockers Mobile Khakis instead.

I love my EVest. It's especially great when going to amusement parks and the like, as long as it's not too hot out to wear it. Plenty of places to stick the stuff I CAN'T go without, like the glucose meter and emergency candy (I'm a diabetic), AND room for the "optional" stuff like the cellphone and digital camera...

Admittedly I havent seen any of the latest e-vest designs. Are they actually available at any retailers or only online ?

Ona side note, I recently purchased a Barbour jacket, (Beaufort lightweight) which has excellent pocket space. In addition, its great in the rain and they are extremely durable. Defintely worth looking into if you want a jacket with plenty of pocket space, that also looks great and is suitable for wearing casually as well as over business attire.

I bought mine in Germany, Europe does have a much larger selection for these jackets, however I know Orvis has a few models, albeit the more traditional ones.

The main reason I was looking into this! My SO is diabetic too and she's using the Handspring Visor/Freestyle Tracker blood meter module and I carry her Novapen and emergency candy so we have those, MY handheld PC and other items that we need to carry on our persons.

Are they only sold at http://www.scottevest.com/ or are there other sites selling them?
