Nokia 3650 Short Review
Had this for 2 weeks now
For those who don't know it's a TriBand GSM/GPRS "smartphone" 900/1800/1900MHz using the Symbian OS - Interface is easy to use - Good battery life - Good talk time - Contact Manager MUCH improved - WAP browser pretty good - Real player allows for saved AND streamed Real content to be played - Nice selection of basic Polyphonic ringtones - Color VGA camera is OK (good for a mobile phone) - Camera capture also supports an aprox 11 seconds video capture - Supports MMC media cards, My English APAC version came with a 16MB card - Nice color display - Bluetooth support HOWEVER Bluetooth headsets MUST support "Handsfree" Bluetooth profile. No support for "Headset" Bluetooth profile - Same usual Nokia basics, Alarm clock, calculator, converter, etc So far, so good.... Any questions let me know. |
How on earth do you set a pic as the wallpaper?

Easy (I lie... it took me a few mins to figure it out)
- Menu Button - Settings (may be under Tools Folder on your Phone) - Phone (Settings) - Standby Mode (Don't ask) - Background Image When you choose "Yes" it will let you choose the Image file. Why they couldn't have put it in Display properties I don't know. |
Thanks!

I hear this is a nice handset. As of today, T-Mobile USA is selling them for $199 after rebate, and has added video messaging support to their MMS service.
