Plse Help Im Desperate "SIDEKICK"
Hello everyone !
I just bought a T-Mobile Sidekick from da States but i Live in Canada and i was wondering if anyone cld get me da UNLOCK CODE IN ORDER FOR MY PHONE 2 WORK IN CANADA I hope i didnt lose my $$$$ Plse neone im Desperate for ure Help !!! |
I don't think anyone can give you an unlock code. You have to have the manufacture or a GSM provider, ie T-Mobile unlock it for you. However they may be resistant to doing that, since it's not in their interest.
However, have no fear, do a search on eBay for unlocking cell phones, or on google.com, and you'll find plenty of services that will do it for a fee. The downside to that is there is no guarantee or warranty that your phone will work after the unlocking process. |

Please also note the replies given on the Hiptop forum to your question, there seems to be a way to unlock it through T-mobile:

Sidekick data services ARE available in Canada. I've used it in Toronto and Montreal.

Though you should note that the device itself uses Danger, Inc.´s servers and is useless without them. They won´t allow logon from a non-TMobile AP. So even if you get it unlocked you won´t be able to use it with a Fido/Rogers account.
