Memory Sticks Affected by Airport X-Rays?

Just curious as to whether flash memory cards (AKA memory sticks) can be affected adversely by airport x-ray machines (the ones that scan your carry-on luggage).

I recently bought a digital camera and am concerned about this.

No problems.

Theoretically yes since FLASH memory cells have minute stored charges which can be discharged by electromagnetic radiation including x-rays.

But practically, the x-rays used in the scanners would not be a problem. And my CompactFlash cards have had no problems going through them several times with stored photos.
