Odd Chrome icons on my taskbar

So I had some issues with my new Dell XPS 4060 laptop. After several Dell consultations it was determined to reset the computer and start over.... so I am now in the process of re-recreating my icons and apps and programs, etc.

I am a chrome user.

In adding the icons to my taskbar using the Chrome "create shortcut" ( see photo) .... all the icons now have a tiny little chrome icon attached to the website icon. Not horrible. But annoying. Is this something new or have I initiated something that I can just flick a button and the added chrome icon would disappear? I tried googling it but came up more confused. Thanks.

It's showing the acct associated with the program, from the Reddit link you can:
Removing the new name button at the top right by disabling this chrome flag

chrome://flags/#enable-new-avatar-menu (paste it into your address bar)

stopped the picture appearing.
