GAN charger with adapter in taiwan
I guess I need an education in electrical theory…
I recently bought an anker 735 gan charger with European style 2 pin to charge my MBP while travelling to reduce weight. I’m travelling to Thailand and Taiwan.
looks like it will be fine in Thailand but Taiwan is 110v and needs the US style adapter. I have this universal adapter
a.co/d/0J39T4l
but I know the usb c and a ports are low wattage compared to the anker (the usb port doesn’t supply enough power for laptops).
but I’m wondering if I plug the anker into it will it simply work as a pass through and not limit the wattage of the anker?

That's a plug adapter with built-in USB chargers. The plug adapter part still just passes through whatever it gets from the wall.
The Anker charger will work just fine on 110V in Taiwan. So you're good.
