Why Does My AirTV Keep Buffering/Erroring out?

So I cut the TV cord 2 1/2 years ago and subscribe to SlingTV (which I love). I get my local channels over the air. I use Comcast/Xfinity for my internet (150mps download speed). I was given an AirTV box to integrate my SlingTV and OTA channels into 1 TV guide (plus the ability to DVR OTA channels). I have had it for 5-6 months and it is almost worthless. It continually buffers the OTA channels. If it is not buffering, I get multiple error messages. something wrong with my firewall, check my OTA connection, etc. I got so frustrated that I just disconnected it. A month ago, I reconnected it and got some of the similar issues. I finally called their tech support and they had me do a few items: reset the entire system, re-connect to my wifi router, and some other minor change. It worked for a little bit but over the last week I am back to where I started: multiple error messages and continuous buffering.

Does anyone else use an AirTV and do you have any issues? I haven't found a similar product on the market but willing to try something else. The best thing about the AirTV is the ability to view the SlingTV app on my Android phone and see local channels. I am almost tempted to buy another AirTV off Amazon seeing if a new box will work better or not.

Thanks for any advice/suggestions any of you might have.
