How do you spoof GPS location on Android to get local deals ?

Is there a simple way to "spoof" the GPS on my Android phone ,
I would like to be able to check the local prices in local currency with a local GPS location.

It would not be just one location , so that needs to be easy to modify ,

Thanks for your ideas

PS.....also have an Android. tablet without a GPS chip , how does that get location except by your WiFi location ?

A very brief Google search turned up the following:

Fake Android Location

RE: Location without GPS hardware support ... yes, by wi-fi location.

It depends on what you're trying to do. Are you trying to get deals in some sort of app with location access? Then you need to spoof your location.

But if you're looking at stuff on the web, the locating is generally done by your IP address, which is easily defeated by using a VPN.

ETA: plus there are a few apps out there (in addition to the Play Store itself) that use your Google account to decide, in which case a new Google account is the only way; those apps always think you're in your "home" country despite all evidence to the contrary.

Ummm Ok , fish and chip flavored , sushi flavored , salsa flavored too
I love them Pokeman......or was that Kit Kat's ?

But there has been a lot of deals to sign up to on a UK deal site but needs a UK location.

But thanks for the idea , I will also look at a Pokeman fan site and see how they do it....

I installed this a couple of years ago when I needed a location in Spain. Seemed to work since I got the deal that I was looking for: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...kegps&hl=en_US.

If it's just a deals website, use one of the many free VPNs out there. It's unlikely that they're using any technology to catch VPNs like most streaming services do.

VPNs spoof routing information, but they wont spoof GPS information - some mobile apps request GPS data for location purposes

I have had a few times where is would not let me sign up because of wrong mobile GPS location ,
and I know it's been the other way where a UK location stopped someone there signing up for a deal in the USA
