iPhone X A1901 in China?

I was wondering if anyone here has the T-Mobile version of the US iPhone X, model #A1901 working in Shanghai?

If you have this phone, does it work fine with China Mobile/Unicom LTE using prepaid or Project Fi?

Good call - I'm wondering the same thing.

Last year, my iPhone 7 for T-Mobile was fine, FYI.

But I don't know why I choose the T-Mobile versions - pretty sure the universal is the same price at the Apple Store. Next time . . .

When you drop $1,000 on a phone, you'd think they'd just include CDMA for you.

Wouldn't the A1865 also work on T-Mobile? Agreed silly to have phone models that screw customers...

With Model A1901, LTE should work, but CDMA will not. I believe one of the carriers in China uses GSM so it'll work with them but not the others who use CDMA.

From the link below under Cellular and Wireless:

Model A1901 does not support CDMA networks, such as those used by Verizon and Sprint.
