Windows 10 Mobile
I just updated my TMobile phone to Windows 10 Mobile using the Insider Route and selected Slow Ring. My question is I opted out of the program and want my phone to get the carrier updates for my Microsoft 640 cellphone as opposed to getting Redstone. Will my phone get the updates for Windows 10 like the other phones do including Firmware or should I renroll into the Insiders Program.
I have 1511 with a build so when the next build comes out I will get it right? The only thing not working is Tmobile's WiFI calling is there a workaround for it? Also I have noticed that it will sometimes not switch from 4G back to LTE after placing a call. I am assuming it will be fixed in later builds when TMobile gets their update. So I assume I will get the carrier updates as my Firmware is under TMobile. My Father got an ATT Microsoft 640 and needs it flashed to TMoblie to unlock Band 12, get WiFi Calling once its supported how can we do this safely? I contacted Cellphone repair shops and they want $50. What is your suggestion? Overall I love Windows 10 its a great improvement over Windows 8.1 and it runs faster and the internet speeds are faster. It seems like bugs have been worked out and its a more smoother experience and I get better battery useage. What are your experiences ? |
In response to the question in you first paragraph, yes, if you opt out, eventually you'll get whatever update you should.
I'm not aware of the issue of Wifi calling. What did I do? Ditch Windows 10 mobile and bought a S7. |
