Windows 7 Task Bar Thumbnail Timeout
I'm getting great advice here so I hope I'm not abusing FT if I ask one more non-travel-related* technical question. My Windows 7 installation developed a frustrating habit a while back: the thumbnails that pop up when you hover over a stacked taskbar group time out far too quickly. I've learned how to maneuver the mouse to force a temporary reset, but I haven't found a fix.
My web searches have revealed a lot of questions from similarly-afflicted people but I've found no solution. Has anyone here had and solved this problem? *Well, peripherally travel-related as this is on the laptop I use as my development and travel machine. |
If you are on a laptop it may be a battery setting:

http://superuser.com/questions/77088...ppears-quickly I've switched back to the "Always fully charge" setting. If this fixes the problem, it will be further proof that there is not necessarily any apparent connection between cause and effect in the world of software. As a developer, I can testify that this can make tracking down certain bugs pretty much impossible. :( |
