Bose QC 15 or 25?
I'm in the market for new noise-cancelling headphones, and I'm looking at Bose this time (had been using Sennheiser PXC 250). The current model is the QC 25, but I've read a few reviews that say it is inferior to their previous QC 15. Any opinions? I can still buy some QuietComfort 15s at a slightly lower price - not really a significant difference in cost, but if the newer model is not an improvement, I might just take the savings.

Costco is selling them, try them, do not like return...

I debated for a long time and was pleased once I upgraded to the 25s.

FWIW I am very happy with my QC15 (not from Costco). |
If you have an Android device, note that the QC 15 may have some limited functionality. There is an Android-specific version of the QC 25, however.

Mine came from AA SHOPPING always looking for extra miles...
They have been great.., |
Interestingly, I looked at the Aeroplan store, which gives 3x the points on purchases at Bose.ca through their portal. If I go through their portal, the QC25 earphones are $329.99; if I go directly to Bose.ca, they are 299.99 (the same price as at Best Buy or Amazon).

I got the QC25 to replace my QC15 and I would say go with the QC25. For me, the fit is more comfortable on my head and ears than the QC15. Plus, unlike the QC15, the QC25 will still work if the battery dies. It won't be noise-cancelling or high quality audio, but it will still play music without a battery. Also, the QC25 is more compact folded up in it's case than the QC15 if space is an issue.
