I actually had a fairly bad experience with my 6141. Well, it worked most of the time, but whenever I streamed Netflix with my PS3 I could reliably cause it to reboot within 30-45 minutes after starting the episode or movie. The Netflix app is good enough to not interrupt playback when that happened, but since I like to be on the laptop at the same time...yeah. Anyway, I got frustrated one night and went to Best Buy and bought a 6183; I've had no problems after that.
(FWIW I have TWC as well. Downstream signal levels are something like +7dBmV with decent SNR so it wasn't my internal wiring or connection to the local node.) |
