LG G4 will be available on t-mobile.com starting tomorrow; with delivery most likely well before the official June 3 release date. $600 price tag. You will also get a free 128GB microSD card through one promotion; and a free 32GB card, battery, and charging cradle in another promotion.

http://www.tmonews.com/2015/05/t-mob...morrow-may-27/

The 128GB card offer expires on 6/21. By then, I really hope they have released their qi accessories as well as all of their leather back options.

I was thinking this was going to be my next phone, but the 5.5" screen is a tad too large for me. Unfortunately, now the Nexus 5 (2015) rumors have just started.

You should contact Motorola to see if they'll fix it. They do offer an "unknown" repair service.

I think I said this in the 2014 thread, but the number of great mid-range phones, amazing prices on 2013 and 2014 flagships, and domestic prepaid pricing, I really don't see the case for buying a current-year flagship on contract anymore. Even spending more than $200, maybe $300 tops, on an un-subsidized phone seems wasteful. If I didn't have a company-issued Moto X 2014 on AT&T Postpaid, I'd more than likely be rocking an LG G2 or ZenFone2 16gb on Cricket Mobile without any regrets.

The Samsung S5 is coming up on special offer later this month where I am and I have more or less decided that at the price being offered, might as well go for it.

As an owner I'd say this is a great deal... but if I were buying today I might consider the 4gb/64gb ZenFone2 or Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 instead.

The Golfer has the X 2014, he seems to really like it. We're just waiting for the 5.1 update to hit it. There was an update that USCC was starting to push it out, but it hasn't made it to his yet. I'm hoping that it fixes the alarm clock issue (he's colourblind and can't easily tell when the alarm is on or off in the clock screen.)

This seems to be the normal price now across every retailer (including T-Mobile). I played around with it some more the other day, and it's just too darn large.

I also looked at the G4 with the leather back, and that is a very nice phone, but still feels little too large. My Galaxy S4 is getting slower and slower, but the 5" 1080p screen is the perfect size and resolution.

The nice thing about the Six is Google Fi.

Hopefully it will also be offered on the new Nexus 5 line.

If you like the Nexus 6 but the size of your GS4, you sound like a prime candidate for a '14 Moto X. I replaces my GS4 GPE with the '14 Moto X (company issued) back in November and I've been quite happy with it. Sales are fairly abundant as well, and I think I've seen ATT Refurbs as low as $280 off-contract recently.

No band 12 for T-Mobile
No wi-fi calling
No wireless charging

Three strikes and you're out.

Edited to add: Someone finally released a
qi receiver sticker qi receiver sticker
for the LG G4. It looks like it also fits in a void inside the existing back cover, so it won't add bulk/bulge like it does with my Galaxy S4 sticker or Galaxy S5 back cover.

Those are three pretty niche strikes, but they do indeed preclude the X from working for you it sounds.

I bought the Nexus 6 when the price dropped. I'll keep it because I want to switch to Google Fi, but this is the first Nexus I've been less than thrilled with. It's just too big to comfortably carry in a pocket or use one-handed.
