Ello- The new facebook
 

I joined the ello network today. It's still in beta testing but if anyone wants an invite I can give out a few and then others can offer up their referrals too.

....and that would be a resounding yawn here then! One FB is enough already and peak Feacebook is here IMHO. A me-to has no chance. Just my $0.02

Via FT I have now given out 15 invites (70 total invites given out by me) and seem to be able to give out more so just PM me if you'd like one. Also if you do get a response that I sent you a referral and it doesn't work just PM me again and I'll check on it. The Beta system is glitchy & if I send you an invite feel free to offer your referral service also)

What's the difference? I'm overwhelmed by invite offers today.

Mostly the no ads policy and the friends vs background noise feature of how you can categorize people.

You can invite people by clicking on the + in a circle to the right of the smiley face thing on the far left.

I have invites too if anyone really wants one!

Why are people raving about ello as though there are no other general purpose social networks (other than Facebook and Google +)?
