iPad issues after using UA Beta WiFi

After a flight today on an A320 I am finding that my Safari browser will only try to open the United wifi.com site. Nothing else opens, and my Ipad does not recognize my home wifi system. Tried clearing cookies, no luck. I watched one movie for two hours. Not very impressed right now. Any tips? Sorry if there is a thread on this that I've missed.

hold down home and power until the ipad powers off. wait a few seconds, and power back on.

Go to your wi-fi setting and "forget" UA network. This is not UA thing just the iPad.

It sounds like the tablet's DNS server address has been changed. I've never used an iPad, so I have no clue how to fix this, but a little googling should find the answer.

The problem seems to be with your iPad, not United. United wifi can't possibly make your iPad forget your home wifi. If rebooting doesn't solve the problem, take it to the genius bar.

While this occurred on a United flight, this sounds more like a technical issue so I'm going to move this thread over to the Travel Technology forum where hopefully the tech savvy folks over there can help the OP out
