Need a program that will let me do bulk changes in html code on web pages

Without going into the gory details, I need a program that will let me load half a dozen html files and bulk change (bulk search-and-replace) links that are now no longer correct.

Some of these pages go back 15 years and I was too stupid then to have used relative links....

I tried loading into Word and WordPerfect, but they load looking like webpages and not has html.

I assume I can use Notepad, but if there is something simpler/better, would love to be pointed at it.

Freeware please :)

Sublime Text 3 or TextPad should be able to do it. Both are free to download.

In Linux, I'd figure out how to use sed or awk.

^ Notepad++ is awesome. It should have been the Notepad that comes with Windows!

Here is a link on how to use Notepad++ for bulk search and replace multiple files:

Programmers Notepad 2 is also a good option. Haven't used Notebook++, but it sounds similar.

^ Here is another +1 for Notepad++. If you need to compare your before and after files then take a look at WinMerge, it is freeware too.

There is a "compare" plugin for Notepad++ too.

This is my favorite regex cheat sheet for Notepad++. It's pretty neutral but leaning more towards perl syntax

...but you probably are already a master at regex
