iPhone 5 Battery Case Recommendation
 

I'm looking at purchasing a battery case for my iPhone 5.

I know most (all?) are two-piece cases. I've had bad luck with two-piece cases in the past. They seem to loosen up over time and loose their effectiveness.

Any recommendations? Capacity isn't a priority for me. My biggest concern is durability and sturdiness.

Mophie?
Lenmar Meridian?
Powerskin looks nice, but I've never seen one in person.
iBattz has removable batteries so you can carry an extra with you. Sounds nice, but I don't like additional moving parts that can be lost or fail.

I have been using Mophies since the iPhone 3 I think. I have the Mophie Helium I think it's called of for my iPhone 5 and am quite happy with it.

I also use the Morphie. $99 doubles battery life; no issues with fit or loosening.

I highly recommend Pong cases. Very durable (especially the rugged models).

Pong cases are the ONLY cases on the market that are FCC tested/approved to reduce radiation exposure, improve antenna performance, and reduce dropped calls. But for me, the biggest thing is that I feel more comfortable holding the phone to my head and worrying less about cancer-causing radiation!

Thanks for the comments about the Mophie. How do the two pieces of the case fit together? Is there an internal clasp or latch? Is it just friction?

Thanks for the Pong case recommendation. However, they don't make a battery case.

Just friction. I have had several and they fit very well without any problems.

I don't believe Pong cases have been tested or approved by the FCC. Pong Research claim that they have tested their cases in an FCC approved third party lab, which is a different thing entirely.

I am in the market for an iPhone 5s case myself, and have been trying to find some hard data on the Pong case, so far without any success.
