Windows 7 System Repair Infinite Loop - no Installation CD

Hi, does anyone here know how to boot up to the desktop normally? Here's what happened:

Yesterday, I was attempting to restore my laptop's Windows 7 operating system to settings from a date prior to the recent October 3 updates, so I chose settings from September 20 (for no particular reason except it seemed far enough back in order to avoid the problems I was having with the recent updates). It powered down, and then when the power came back on, it froze in the Acer screen!

I unplugged it and took out the battery. Put the battery back in and then tried to start it again, but it put me in the system repair mode. Now, I'm stuck in the infamous Windows 7 System Repair Infinite Loop in which my system now, upon turning on the laptop, FIRST AND UNAVOIDABLY auto-attempts to repair the system - I then get a message that it is unable to repair the system, it shuts down, powers up, wash, rinse repeat.

Help! I do not have a Windows installation CD, or discs of any kind.

MS has a utility that allows you to "burn" the Windows 7 ISO onto a USB key (or DVD, if you prefer).

Cannot find a link to the ISOs. Sorry.

Hopefully you have a spare computer nearby?

Yes, but that is my primary one, so I need to get that fixed asap, lol.
