Hey, I’m new here!

I would like to ask you guys some questions for some research I am doing.

I am looking at different In Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems and how airlines and IFE providers are using technology to create a rich user experience for passengers.

I would like to find out from you guys what your experience has been with IFE.

• What airline have you flown with where you had a good or bad IFE experience?
• Length of that flight.
• What where the good points about the IFE system you used?
• Bad points?
• Any features that you were really impressed by?
• What would you like an IFE system to do that it currently doesn't?

Welcome. We generally discourage this type of post because the posters tend to ask their question, not come back to join the discussion, and then don't become members of the community. Please search through the forum and you will likely find many of the answers you're looking for.

Thats a fair point. I would though rather get into a discussion here. Not just post the question and leave like you said.

I had a search and didnt really find much info relative to what I am looking for. This is why I made the post. Ill keep looking.

People on this forum have flown on all major airlines in the world, and most of the smaller ones too. I was on Firefly about two months ago, I'm on United today, and I'll be on Swiss in a few weeks. Your survey is confusing because it begins with "What Airlines..." and then asks "how long was the flight?"

Let me clear it up for you.

If there was a particlaur flight where you felt the IFE was pretty good or pretty poor. I would like to know what airline it was so I can look into what their system is and see why you liked it or disliked it.

The length of flight, because every flight length is different. Some people may find that certain IFE systems frustrate them over a period of time. Shorter flights with the same IFE may not. I can then try and work out why that is. Im not asking for your every experince, but just any that stand out. I have experienced a few in the last few years and I am interested to find out what other think as well.
