iOS 7 Beta

Anyone running iOS 7 beta 1/2?

I have it on my iPad 2 and I really am disappointed in it. Nothing about the functionality, as I understand it is still beta. The UI leaves a lot to be desired. I liked it before I actually got my hands on it...

Who'd have ever thought I'd be dissing Apple and praising Microsoft in the same night? I feel so dirty.

Not got it yet, but am looking forward to getting rid of all that fake wood and other hideous aspects of the current ios.

Are you a developer?

I am not.

Installed it on my iPhone the day it came out. Decided I was moving to Android shortly after. Picking up a Nexus 4 sometime this weekend to give stock Android it a run before offloading it and shelling out the bucks for an HTC One.

Ios 7

After using Ios 7 I thought andorid is more better than that. Difficult to deploy our own project on ios. On the other hand android is open source and better than ios.

In an effort to simplify its look, Apple iOS7 has fallen off the bridge. It's so simple it is flat, boring and dull.

It's called a Beta for a reason. Knock it all you want, in six months 90% of iOS users will be on iOS7, while 50% of Android users will be stuck on a two year old version, completely unable to upgrade. Yeah, good luck with that.

And that two year old version of Android does most of what's "new and revolutionary" in iOS7, while iPhone 3GS owners weep as they can't upgrade to iOS7 and only way to get the "new" features is a handset upgrade.

(And I say that as someone who currently owns an iphone5 - an iPhone 4 prior to that-, an iPad mini and a MBP) lest I be called an Android fanboy

That is because 50% of Android users don't feel the need to buy a new phone every two years just to get a new update.

Yippee

Yet another apple android thread because the other seven thousand of them don't convey the same information.

Yeah, sure, whatever makes you feel better. Apple users do not need to buy a new phone to get an upgrade. Apple makes upgrades available to all phones at the same time, although not all new items may not work on older phones, the upgrades DO HAPPEN, unlike your beloved Android.

I don't think iPhone 3 got ios6. Or 3GS is getting iAndroid 7. So yeah,
