eXport cable w/ iPhone 5?
 
Has anyone tried the eXport cable with the iPhone 5 adapter? Will be going to Asia soon and wondering if I should load up some movies on the iPhone?

Not sure it will work, the video out of the new devices is digital, and don't believe the connector converts it.

As apple says on their Lightning to 30 pin adapter page

This adapter lets you connect devices with a Lightning connector to many of your 30-pin accessories.* Supports analog audio output, USB audio, as well as syncing and charging. Video output not supported.

Thanks cordelli, it sounds pretty clear it's a no go.

They were supposedly going to release a connector that did the conversion, but don't have a clue where that stands.
