Does anybody make a hydra-headed USB cable?

I've seen travel kits with a bunch of adapters but what I'm wondering about is a cable that simply has multiple ends with the various USB plugs--it would be all one piece, no adapters to get separated. Unless there is some electronic issue with reflections it seems simple enough. (Of course some morons would try to use it as a hub. I don't think that should be enough to preclude making it.)

There are tons of them - what kind of plugs exactly are you looking for?

I have one with Mini, Micro, iPod and one with about ten different phone chargers.

You get something like this:

Though my personal favorite is this one:

Sort of what I had in mind but I'm looking for USB/Mini/Micro that are real data cables, not merely chargers.

I've bought them from DealExtreme in Hong Kong. dx.com

There are plenty of ten or eight corded ones out there (depending on which you buy) that are in the $3 to $4 range.

To me they have always seemed to be a waste, I need three or four different plugs, and one of them I need for multiple devices, so having ten means there are seven that will never get used, and as there is only one of each I would still need an adapter to charge a second device of the same type.

Before the chargepod I would take three or four cables I need, tie them in a knot together and use a wall usb charger to charge two at a time (though I could go four in the ultimate charger thread) :D

Got stacks of them - buy them at my local Pound shop for - em - £1.

And unlike some of them they provide data as well as charging connections.

The second one I listed is data and charge.

Isn't that a set of adapters, though?

That's definitely getting warmer.

I was hoping for all three ends on the end of a cable. As it stands I have multiple cables on my desk that I was hoping to replace with just one without having to use an adapter in some cases but not others.

While some of the stuff charges through the cable most of it also gets data. (For example, my Kindle.)

Perhaps one of these?

I travel with this cable with a single integrated single hub* and can confirm that they charge and sync. I couple it with another microusb cable to charge two devices at once if they're not too smart about power consumption. 1Amp usb charger + iPhone5 + kindle doesn't seem to charge as well 1Amp usb charger + android + kindle.

Central Computers also has the mini usb, iphone, and iPad versions, just search for them on the store.

*hub - well, it adds 1 M data cable and 1 F USB port as data connections to my Macbook which is what I need 90% of the time, so I'm going to call it a hub.

Thank you! That's exactly what I had in mind, although from looking at the comments this has some electrical issues, the tails are too long.
