Increased In-Flight Entertainment Experience?

Hello All,

Just trying to gather some consumer information about your use of Air Canada's and other airline's in-flight entertainment system. We are looking into incorporating literary and family friendly material into the system for your benefit.

If you have a couple moments to fill out the following survey, we can keep you updated on the results.

Thanks in advance,

GBidzios

I'm happy to keep this here - but I ask that you respond to us to let us know who "we" are, what you plan to do with the data and where the results will be published.

It's a good idea to be wary of SurveyMonkey requests. The free accounts (like this one appears to be) can be setup with disposable email addresses and are virtually untraceable. The paid accounts permit custom URLs, custom banners, etc. and require credit cards so they're somewhat less likely to be used by bad guys. Interesting that AC's marketing department can't afford $10 see to make a customer-facing survey look more professional.

The questions asked on this survey look pretty benign, but SurveyMonkey is a great way to extract personal information from people without raising their suspicions (e.g. What is your Aeroplan number?)

The OP is questionable as AC has several official accounts on FT.

Interesting because the questions asked about attractiveness of environmental sustainability in an airline to pax...

How do you plan on doing that?

Hey sorry for the delayed reply, but the "we" is actually a group of university students from Wilfrid Laurier University in the Bachelors of Business and Administration program.

This is no scam at all, it's just for our case on Air Canada and I appreciate your participation.

We essentially want to remove the in-flight magazines and any literary material printed for your viewing pleasure on the plane and integrate the material with the in-flight entertainment system; That's why we inquire about environmental sustainability because we would be removing all the printing and paper waste.

We are going to combine all the results for our consumer analysis and I'd be happy to share that with you guys.
