Galaxy S3
Hi All
I'm off on a trip to the US for the next month or so, and have a UK sourced Galaxy S3 (Model No : GT-i9305). Am thinking about getting a T-mobile US pay as you go plan, and was wondering if the phone is compatible with the US t-mobile 4G service. Any help would be appreciated. Rob |
Nope - that one supports AT&T 3G/4G bands, but not T-Mobile.
However, there are some areas in the US where the 1900MHz band has been refarmed to support 4G so you have a 5% chance of finding one of those spots, I just wouldn't count on it. |
so, the pretty young thing with whom i play squash, took one look at my g3x, and said, damn jer, they finally made an iphone for you sundowners..............

Consider getting a StraightTalk SIM. For $45 you should be able to get 30 days of talk/data. Just make sure you're getting one of their AT&T based SIMs as they do also have T-mobile based SIMs. StraightTalk's retail presence is at Wal-Mart.

Am toying with the idea of red pocket service. Any thoughts?
