Galaxy Note 2 thread

I'm going for a Sammy Galaxy Note 2.

I would love it if Google came out with such a phone. I want a bigger phone where you have the option to use a stylus. This seems so very cool.

I'm currently in the stone ages with a Blackberry, but am considering the SG3, rumored new Google Nexus phone or the SGN2 seeing as how RIM seems to be going the way of Palm.

I admit when seeing the commercials for the SGN1 I thought it was a stupid concept due to it's size, but now I'm reading that people love it once they get used to it so the new one is on my radar.

For men (or women that aren't going to put in their purse) that are set on getting it, would it be your primary phone which you carry around in your pocket?

Would having a SGN2 make having another tablet (ipad) redundant?

I can't imagine needing to use the stylus myself, but is that a big selling point if you're getting it?

I'm so glad you started this thread. :D

I'm upgrade-eligible on October 14 on AT&T, so I really can't wait for it to be released. It seems like one hell of a nice device. Unlike previous Samsung flagships, the US version won't be crippled.

My Nexus 7 fits in my pocket, so the GN2 will fit with no trouble. I'll probably invest in a Bluetooth earpiece for the first time, to avoid any awkwardness from calling on the slab. For everything else the size is clearly an advantage, not a handicap.

FWIW, BGR claims the Note 2 will show up at At&T on October 21.
