GoGo Monthly Pricing

By some strange quirk, I'm going to be doing significantly more traveling over the next month than is normal for me. I've looked into the GoGo monthly data plans but have a basic question that doesn't seem to be defined on their internet page. If I were to sign up for a monthly pass on July 10th, would it be good through August 10th? Or just to the end of July?

Just be sure to cancel before Aug. 10. You can do it via online help any time after signing up. Just did that after 2 months - while in the air on GoGo!

Did a search. Today i opted for a gogo daily mobile purchase on an AS flight to SEA. $10. The T & C stated that it would be good on any gogo equipped flight today. Then on an AA flight to DFW. Could not log on. Chat with the gogo operator gave me a promo code and I noted changing carriers was not mentioned in the rules. Be aware.

Second issue- I have an original Gtab 7 Sprint off contract and a Nexus 7. I could get the G tab online with the mobile day pass and my phone, but not the nexus 7. The chat operator said only "phones" were allowed on the mobile pass. She said tablets were considered laptops and did not qualify for the mobile pass. So I am guessing my stock 7" g tab sprint off contract is seen as a phone to the network. I wonder what other tabs with a cellular chipset can do that? As a data point, the mobile day option was available on my phone and gtab, but not the nexus 7.

Is the service from gogo available only in-flight or is it available at the airports also? does it have any relationship with Boingo?

Gogo is flight only

Gogo and Boingo have (or had, not sure it's still in place) an agreement where you could use your boingo account on gogo in flight.

You still have to pay the gogo fee, but you don't need a gogo account.
