Is there an Android solution for auto login to wifi hot spot?
I have an Android-based smart phone (Sony-Ericsson Xperia X8), and I just use a prepaid SIM card for calls & SMS. I don't have a data plan since I'm almost always around a hot spot. I just use wifi when I need to connect to the net.
But the WiFi I am around most frequently is provided by a university, and it requires you to login after connecting. Not a big deal, except that I do use an SIP service for international calls, and I can only receive incoming calls through this service when connected to wifi.
While I'm at home, I don't have to do anything--the phone connects automatically to my home router. But while on campus, it connects automatically, but I still have to manually login before I get service. It would be nice if I could get my phone to passively connect AND login automatically when I'm within WiFi range.
Is there an app (or any other way) that will let me do this?
Thanks.

Boingo dies this. I'm not sure if you need a subscription with them or not to make it work.
I used this app when I had an android. It seemed to work well, I've got an iPhone and an unlimited plan now so it's been a while since I've touched it.
