Many reviews and forums state that you get the 50GB free for a year. Here is one.
I don't have premium channels - just basic cable (clear QAM) but I also get the local stations in HD. I use Windows Media Center for the recording, and have always been able to stream to any PC on my network. I'm assuming the android tablet can handle it. Placed the order with Amazon this afternoon. |

Got my Galaxy Tab 2 yesterday. I didn't have much time to play with it, but I can confirm that the 50 GB Dropbox plan is for real.
I set up my wifi network and entered my gmail account info. The tablet automatically "restored" all of the apps I already have installed on my Galaxy Nexus phone. When I logged into Dropbox (via the app) it showed the "get 50 GB with your next picture upload). I snapped a quick picture, it automatically synced to Dropbox, and I am now up to 51.25 GB of storage. ^ Definitely need to get a case for it. |
