Windows 8 hardware requirements
 
I have a couple of machines I would like to try Windows 8 on if they can handle it. One is an Asus eee 1005 MA with 2 Gb RAM. It is currently running XP. Is that likely to work well? Acceptably? Thanks.

According to stories in places line engadget, it will run on the Atom with 1 GB and up of memory.

If you do a clean install, make sure you have the proper drivers from Asus for the install.
