Providing a refund is more then reasonable.

I agree. At the same time I feel that the customer's response is unwarranted; hard to believe someone in this day & age hasn't come across limitations in what you can do with a service... of any type. Even hotel internet connections often have prohibitions on streaming unless you pay an exhorbitant fee, and what GoGo is charging... c'mon, even if it were $20 that's not much if it means you're going to be able to get work done while flying. If GoGo is advertising themselves as an alternative to IFE, then sure, it's deceptive, but I don't believe that's been the case.

But really, GoGo should just figure this is someone they'll never make happy, refund the few $$$ and let everyone get on with their lives. It's not as if doing so is going to cause a wave of refunds.

Why would anyone expect to be able to stream movies during the middle of a flight? Do you realize how bandwidth limited those connections are? It's barely enough to be able to smoothly browse the web.

If one person starts watching movies that pretty much destroys everyone else's ability to access the internet.

Some of us remember using dialup to connect to AOL and CIS. Pay per minute. Connection not even fast enough for photos.

I can understand users who grew up with broadband not realizing how bandwidth limited the connections are. After giving the OP more thought I really can't think of a good reason for not mentioning the limitations of service on the signup screen. It's a given for those of us who understand the process but clearly it's not for others.
