Dual sim - multi sim

Thought this might be of use to people here, especially if you hate having to switch sim cards out when travelling:

The 28th gen no cut model is of most attraction as you don't have to mess around cutting up sim cards.

Its got a lot of positive reviews on the XDA forums, especially for the Samsung Galaxy S2.

I personally have not bought one yet, but intend to do so in the near future.

Cool... will these work with factory unlocked IPhones...?

ianhinton Feb 9, 2012 3:50 am

I've actually got a couple of these from this very online shop. I had one for my iphone 4 and one for my samsung galaxy s2 (that i replaced my iphone 4 with)

Yes it does work with an unlocked iphone 4. I had no problems with it at all on the iphone 4 and use the 28th gen plus no-cut on my samsung galaxy s2 daily.

I find it really useful and couldn't go back to the days of long-winded sim switching.

So yea, if anyone's wondering if it does work, i can confirm that it does.

How is the design and quality of the case that you have to use with these adapters..?

I can't find any pics....

Also, don't they offer a dual micro SIM adapter....?

Very cool! Scary (at least, in the case of the CUT Model required for my phone), but still very cool.

Very interesting. I could use one of these for my galaxy S2
I did buy a while ago a quad sim quad band phone. I use it when I travel and it is quite good. No 3G or UMTS, but when I can have all the sims on at once, its quite good to use.

Here is a new Android phone from LG:

It is a dual sim from a major provider. SIM 1 is 3g (2100/900mhz) + quad band; SIM is quadband only.

interesting. I was reading a while ago that the major companies are looking into mass making the dual sim phones.

Well actually Samsung have announced a bunch of dual sim phones for the Indian and Chinese markets, including a dual sim SG2.

However have no idea on pricing and when it will be released.

I saw that as well. I get an Indian tech email feed and it was listed. Obviously, someone introduced a new chipset. In my mind, the killer issue will be battery life. I also wish they supported quadband 3g. In addition to North American issues, it would also be important to Australians which seems to be using a 850 and 2100mhz for their 3g.
