Perfect little unit to travel with and hook up to a hotel TV?

Why would you? The vast majority of high end smartphones can do more, and with a simple cable can also be hooked up to the TV. Plus, a Linux mini computer like this really has a limited audience. Once you get all the cables, put it in an enclosure and get a power supply, you'd be better off with something else. It looks like a fun gimmick, but not really practical for travel.

Not really aimed at travel.

It is however aimed at kids who might want to play with a simple computer and actually have a fun hands on experience learning to program. If you talk to University admissions people, many who want to do comp sci think that computing involves word, excel and access.

If my physics teacher had not recommended me for a course based around a similarly targeted computer (the MK14) I might not be were I is today ;)

I guess not really aimed at travel, but how cool is it?

I'm for sure going to be getting one. Plan to hook it up to the spare TV in our bedroom.

To do what? $99 gets you a Logitech Google TV, which already comes with the power supply, enclosure, keyboard. I guess if you like experimenting with a cheap linux box, it could be fun.
