Verizon iPhone 4S SIM PIN?

FOr those of you paying attention, I've been agonizing about what new phone to get. I just got a Verizon iPhone 4S on Friday (walked into the melee of the APple Store on 5th Ave, no less). Yay!

Being the enginerd I am, I'd like to set a SIM PIN for when I'm out of the country. How do I do it? Does the appropriate menu not appear until the phone runs in GSM mode? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I would like to unlock the phone for international roaming, but I think you need to be a Verizon customer for at least 60 days - so I'll call in late March. I have no plans to leave the country until July anyway.

Thanks!

If you do not see it here Settings->Phone->SIM PIN with a sim card in the phone, then its probably only available in GSM mode. What happens when you put it in GSM mode in the US with a sim card in it?

Aha! Found it! Hiding in plain sight, it was. Thanks!

Edit *) to 60. Amusing typo ;)

verizon says they unlock phones once a year or something, i am sure ymmv based upon which rep you get. the global reps always seem to be the most knowledgeable.
if you are just going to use verizons service abroad, you can just call them to activate the plan.
if you are planning on using a foreign micro sim: first, call verizon and have them get the unlock code from apple (while in the states). it shouldn't take very long.
second, after inserting the foreign micro sim the phone has to connect to the internet to activate the sim or connect to itunes. and the unlock pin will come with the sim.
i just bought a noosy micro sim cutter to take with us from amazon because it was hard for us to find a store with a cutter in spain.

Just got off the phone with Verizon. The first rep I talked to didn't know what he was doing. First he told me I couldn't unlock my phone, then he said I had to use only one specific SIM. Eventually I got him to transfer me to global tech support, who took all of 10 seconds to apply the unlock. I put in a UK Vodafone SIM and roamed to AT&T right away.
