Advice on Will & expense tracking software

I have been delaying this for a long time.

All advice is appreciated.

What software would you recommend to be used on a Mac?

I want to track my expenses starting 2012.

I also want to make a will. What should I be doing here? What is Living Will, Living Trust, etc ?

Do I need to contact an attorney for that?

Thanks a lot and Happy Holidays.

When you say "expenses", do you mean "all expenses, everything I pay for", or do you mean "travel expenses"? Try looking at lifehacker.com for their reviews of different solutions.

for a living will, just google. There are a dozen free forms you can find. the hard part is making sure you have the uncomfortable conversations with SEVERAL people.

for a will, unless you have something financially complicated, there are also many free options. This depends on the state you're living in, your marital status, etc. Your key goals are avoiding probate, and making sure loved ones have assets they can use after your death.

I like Nolo Press a lot, but there are many, many options.
