App for shutting wireless off on phone?
Sometimes I forget to turn off my wireless when I'm entering an area where there is no connection. Does an app exist that shuts off your connection if you don't get a signal for a certain amount of time and maybe retries every 10 minutes instead of constantly? If there isn't, how would I go about getting an app made? I don't care about any money, I'd be fine with a free copy of the app.

Can't think of the name, but there is an Android app (probably more than one) that does exactly what you're asking.

I have a friend who swears by connection checker
http://connectionchecker.com/ as saving him a ton of battery life. I don't have it so I can't say one way or the other. |
While this thread is fine here, we're going to ship it over to Travel Technology where it may get more answers.
