AT&T Offering 1,000 rollover minutes for iPhone

This seems to be targeted but confirm texts have been sent to everyone who texts "yes" to 11113020. May even work on non iPhone AT&T phones. Allow up to 4 weeks for processing.

It probably costs them very little. I use way more data and texting than I ever do voice. And at drinks last night, a friend was talking about a new iPhone (AT&T vs Verizon) and the consensus among all of us was that no one talks on the phone anymore.

I got the text, and didn't bother replying. I intend to ditch AT&T as soon as Verizon releases a GSM iPhone.

Thank you, OP! I have been trying to figure out a way to get a bucket of cheap/free minutes added to our plan!

With two iPhones on a family plan, I wonder if both ought to do this or will one be enough?

JTPictureman Feb 12, 2011 12:25 pm

Thanks! Of course I lose roll over minutes every month but still like a "freebie"!

Thanks OP! Still seemed to work. I guess I'll know for sure in 4 weeks.

Entered this contest using 2 non-Apple ATT Prepaid Sims.

Keeping fingers crossed.

If ATT fulfills, I'm good for 2 years.

You realize Verizon won't ever do that, right? At some point they're likely to release an LTE iPhone. Assuming broad adoption of LTE around the world, Verizon LTE phones should be operable on those networks as well.

When and where is the first lte, say in Europe coming?

Wirelessly posted (beckoa's PWP wonderous device: BlackBerry9000/4.6.0.304 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

So no way to do this for those w/o texting I guess :(

Nothing here yet... were you notified by text message, or did it just appear suddenly on your online statement?

cblaisd Mar 6, 2011 6:22 pm

Got a Pageonce account notification that I had an extra thousand rollover minutes.
