Best Prepaid in OZ with Iphone
 

I had a post paid with Telstra it's expensive. I use about 1 or so GB a month, and make a few domestic calls some to the USA.. Whats the best deal for prepaid at the moment?

Check out Optus. It was reasonable last time I used it.

We had a good experience with using Vodafone in New Zealand. Should be almost the same across the way in Oz.

I had the mobile broadband 3gb/month for $60usd and two pre-pay phone sim cards with 100mb free data per month for the first three months.

But we were using an LG Incite WM smartphone and a LG Invision.

I am going to Australia in April for 3wks. Have a locked IPhone 4, iPhone 3G jailbrokken and unlocked and locked ipad (with 3G )

I want to be able to call a few local Australian numbers, text and check email (text local) on one of the IPhones.

Want to be able to receive calls from home only if needed, text home and use data to check email, send picture texts, tweet etc

Hotel will have wireless so can use Ipad for free.

What type if plan do you suggest for both phones (do I need both ) that won't break the bank. Do not have International on my IPhone 4 now.

If you can be specific as possible, don't want to mess up and have huge phone bill.
