ORD boingo wireless Mac OS issues
 

For the last couple of weeks when I am at ORD I can not get connected to the WiFi. An initial page loads but does not display anything. It worked about 3 weeks ago but then stopped.

OS X 1.6.4
I've tried safari, firefox, and chrome. none work.

Other Mac users I've asked in the airport also indicated that they were not able to connect.

Haha I was there yesterday and experienced the same thing. I have an iPhone, iPad and MacBook Pro for the record. I used the Boingo app on my iPhone and was connected and browsing instantly. I took out my MBP as a mechanical failure caused a delay, so I thought I would browse in comfort. No luck there, I tried typing in my credentials over and over again but it just would not load. Sometimes it would not even log me in. I used my iPad as a sort of control and it worked perfectly on there. I use Google Chrome normally but neither that nor Safari was of any use. Shame, I've never got it to work on my MBP to be honest

Still not working!
 

I can't believe the problem remained after 8 months.

ugh, I HATE Boingo! It's so spotty! I say go with Clear 4G on a month to month plan. You won't regret it!
