Google Toobar gone nuts
It's suddenly decided to roll the dice at startup in deciding my language. It's generally set to either Spanish or Chinese. Of course this results in it eternally asking if I want to translate the page.
To add to the annoyance when I go to their forum I can't get a post button to post anything with. Does anyone have any ideas? |
Uninstall it and use Firefox.

I still find it more useful than any other extensions that do similar things. |
Hmm...My advice was based on my experience with Google desktop software: I've found it to be much less polished and more buggy than other companies' offerings. What's the particular functionality you're looking for? I used to use the toolbar, but Firefox has a built in Google search box, and I back up bookmarks with the Xmarks add-in.

Google's search box has one very nice feature--your search terms show up in the tool bar and you can click on them to search for the term. It's autofill also works a lot better than any other extension I've found. |
