Check your K-mart store. My wife got a 250 GB portable hard drive for $10. It was a clearance item. The store had just one.

Do try your local K_Mart. You might find one.
I bought an enclosure through Amazon to use the 120 GB hard drive from my old laptop that had suffered a sudden death. The $12 enclosure arrived without any screws. So I sent it back.
